Do motorized shades work if the Wi-Fi or power goes out?
Yes. All motorized shades include a handheld remote as standard, so they operate independently of Wi-Fi. Battery-powered motors also continue to function during a power outage. Hardwired motors will not operate during a power outage unless a backup power source is available, but their remote controls will resume normal function once power is restored.
